Local and European elections take place on Friday June 7, 2024. There will also be a general election by March 2025. The deadline to register for the June local and European elections is Monday May 20, 2024 and the deadline to register for a postal vote is Saturday May 11, 2024. Only Irish citizens can vote in referendum and next Irish Presidential election (due October 2025)
Only Irish and British citizens can vote in the next Dáil election (due before March 2025)
All EU citizens can vote in the European elections
